Thermally Conductive Silicone Rubber Group
The Thermally Conductive Silicone Rubber RTV adhesive sealant group includes gap fillers and joint compound, along with a spray-able thermally conductive coating. The gap fillers are two-part systems, while the joint compound and spray-able coating are 1 part products.
These silicone products are particularly useful for coupling electronic components to heat sinks, or using themselves as a form-in-place heat sink, using its mass as a heat absorbing sink.
Provides heat dissipation and electrical insulation.
Most of these products have a high 2.0 to 2.2 W/m-K thermal conductivity rating.
Platinum cure with no by-products, thereby eliminating corrosion.
