High Temperature Reinforced Supported and Plain Solid Silicone Rubber Sheet

500°F / 260°C Continuous Exposure: Higher Intermittent

FlameShield™ High temperature, heat and flame resistant silicone rubber sheeting resists molten metals, weld spatter, solder drips, brazing and other hot processes. The fiberglass reinforced (sometimes called "supported") version silicone rubber sheet meets AMS3320 & AMS3315 specifications for aviation use.

Used as a gasket material that provides excellent dimensional stability.  Can be cut into shapes and fastened into place with standard fasteners such as rivits, screws and bolts (backing washers help with tensioning). Also provides protection from ozone, UV and abrasion.

The plain solid silicone rubber sheet does not have a fiberglass support layer.
