Electrically Conductive Silicone Adhesives and Sealants Group
These electrically conductive silicone adhesives and sealants are generally used to seal and bond components together while providing EMI / RFI reduction characteristics as there are electrically conductive fillers within the product. They are available in a paste like consistency (thixotropic) with nickel graphite, silver, and silver coated aluminum fillers.
These uncured silicones are 1-part RTV oxime cure, with a working time of 15 minutes, and tack free within 60 minutes.
The silver filler products offer very high conductivity as compared with the Nickel Graphite filler products.
The metallic fillers also enhance the thermal conductivity of these products.
Many of these products are used in aviation applications.
