The silicone adhesive provides a high temperatue range up to 500°F. An acrylic adhesive version is rated to 325°F.
Surfaces should be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol prior to installation.

SilSeal™ high temperature, heat & flame resistant silicone rubber sponge foam tape with PSA is FDA compliant for food contact.
Used as a gasket, cushion, vibration dampener and is thermally insulating. Can be used to wrap pipes, hoses and tubing to provide insulation or personnel contact protection against hot or cold.
Meets FDA 21 CFR 177.2600.
Available in 4 thicknesses: 1/16", 3/32", 1/8" and 3/16". Standard roll widths of 0.5", 0.75", 1.0", 1.25", 1.50", 2", 2.50", 3" and any custom width.

SilSeal Silicone Rubber Solid Tape with PSA
SilSeal™ high temperature, heat & flame resistant silicone rubber tape with PSA adhesive.
Used as a gasket, cushion, and vibration damper. Also used to wrap hoses, wires, cables to protect against weld spatter, molten liquid splash and grinding sparks.
Tape is 1/32", 0.031", 0.79 mm thick. Standard roll widths of 0.5", 0.75", 1.0", 1.25", 1.50", 2", 2.50", 3" and any custom width.

Silicone Rubber Coated Fiberglass Knit Tape and Woven Tape
FireTape™ high temperature, heat & flame resistant tape is similar to our firesleeve except it can be installed in situations where tubular firesleeve cannot be used, as when industrial hoses, wires and cables cannot be disconnected to install a sleeve. (our firesleeve with velcro closure is also an alternative).
This high temperature tape is the perfect choice for protection of industrial hydraulic hoses and lines, pneumatic lines, fuel & oil lines, brake lines, wires, cables, tube and pipe from exposure to high and extreme heat conditions. The extra thick special formulation of silicone rubber sheds molten metals, slag, welding spatter, electrical or grinding sparks and contamination. This tape also provides protection from ozone, UV and abrasion and provides thermal insulation.
This tape is produced in high temperature oxide-red color, however it can be painted with our liquid silicone to result in almost any color. Supplied in 100 foot lengths and also available in By-the-foot lengths.
Fabricated from a knitted fiberglass (fibreglass / glassfibre) yarn substrate, and is available in 5 standard widths: 1", 2", 3", 4" and 5". Due to the knit construction of the base material, this tape has the ability to stretch slightly across its width, but only minimally in its length.
This tape can also be used to wrap complex shapes or varying dimension tapered pipes. Typically, the tape is overlaped by 50% when winding, which provides the entire assembly with stability. Safety wire, band clamps, ties or End Wrap Tape can be used to secure the tape in place after installation.high temperature, heat, flame, pyro and fire resistant sleeve and jacket provides molten splash & weld splatter protection to wires, cables, hoses, tubes and pipes. Silicone Rubber 2-side Coated Fiberglass Knit Tape
Similar to the 1 side coated tape as shown above, this knit tape substrate is coated on both sides, which helps to prevent contamination of the substrate.
Silicone Rubber Coated Fiberglass Woven Slit Tape
Made from a heavy woven base fiberglass material and then coated with a thick layer of high temperature silicone rubber. Premium grade.
Being a woven base material it has very minimal elasticity compared to knit tapes or slit tape make from braided firesleeve. Available in widths up to 40".
This slit tape is also used to fabricate various shields and barriers for equipment and personnel protection from hot processes including liquid metal splatter, sparks, slag, flame exposure and heat.
This tape is produced in lengths of up to 100 feet.
Fabricated from a woven heavy duty fiberglass (fibreglass / glassfibre) yarn fabric, and is available in widths from 1" to 40" wide. Due to the box weave construction and silicone rubber inpregnation the tape has no elasticity.
Insulated Tape Wrap for cables, hoses and pipes - heat trace insulation - energy savings - OSHA Personnel Burn Protection
Custom fabricated insulated wrapping tape for pipe, hose and line protection: high temperature protection and cold temperature protection. Excellent thermal protection and energy saving for boiler piping and steam pipe applications. Also provides thermal insulation and protection to flexible hoses and lines, and rigid lines and piping. Can be used to meet OSHA reuirements for personnel burn protection.
The outer cover is a 32oz/yd2 silicone rubber coated fiberglass. This outer fabric can also be supplied meeting NRC 1.36 specifications for use in nuclear facilities. The insulation layer and outer protection layer also meets MIL-I-24244 specifications.
The insulation layer is can be either 1/4", 1/2" or 3/4" thick fiberglass. The 3/4" thickness is a combination of 1/4" and 1/2" insulation which is layered and stitched.
An optional liner of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric provides additional protection of the insulation layer, especially useful if the tape will be removed and re-installed multiple times, or to prevent wear of the needled insulation and reducing the fibers from becoming free in the area of use. This insulated pipe and hose wrap tape is sewn with high temperature fiberglass thread.
A hook and loop fastener is sewn on each edge of the tape, permitting easy closure and removal - allowing for easy inspection of the underlying hose, line or piping. The standard hook and loop is nylon; nomex and stainless steel closure versions are available.
This tape wrap may be installed longitudinally or spirally over pipes, hoses, wires and cables. Supplied in 20 foot lengths and may be cut in the field to shorter lengths.
